As a CIWMB response contractor we were mobilized by the CIWMB to perform the work within specific enviromental and time sensitive guidelines. Work week requirments of 6 days a week, 10 hours a day resulted in complition in 40 days, with zero safety incidents and completion one week ahead of schedule. The scope included removal and transportation of all metal to a recycler, the excavation and disposal of burn ash and impacted soils and finally the demolition and disposal for recycling of all concrete foundations and slabs. The total tonnage removed was in excess of 59,000 tons and was performed under Level C Personnel Protection Equipment.
